M10 nyloc insert nuts (Type 'P') in grade 8.8 high tensile steel, Bright Zinc Plated (BZP). A nyloc nut has a nylon insert in the top of the nut that grips the thread and prevents the nut from loosening under vibration, making them essential in applications where standard nuts might work loose. What's the maximum temperature for nyloc nuts?
The nylon insert is rated to approximately 120°C. For high-temperature applications, use an all-metal locking nut instead.
