What's a set screw vs a bolt?
In UK fastener terminology, a hex head set screw is fully threaded all the way to the head (DIN 933). A hex bolt has a plain shank section below the head (DIN 931). Both use a hex head and spanner. For most through-bolt applications, a set screw is fine — the full thread gives more grip.
